When I saw this cartoon on the Silly Symphonies DVD set from Walt Disney Treasures, there was an introduction to this short from an episode of the Disneyland show in the mid 50s, and Walt erroneously says this was made in 1938, instead of 1935. Noice that the Roman numerals at the bottom of the “Silly Symphonies” title screen ends with a “V” meaning “five.”

LOL when i was a kid, i always felt kind of sad when i watched this one cause i would think “Where are their moms and dads? Why are these babies alone?”
haha.
i love the music though. when I heard it on this vid, i almost cried cause a gush of memories crashed down on my head haha.
